Knowledge Builds

Anchor Scripture: Hosea 4:6

” My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. (NKJV) “

Marriage is an institution, but unfortunately many enter it without education.

God said in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Ignorance in marriage is costly. Love is important, but knowledge sustains love. Proverbs 24:3 declares, “Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established.” If you don’t learn about marriage, you will learn from pain.

Knowledge builds stability, emotional intelligence, financial discipline, and spiritual maturity. Couples who grow in knowledge don’t react carelessly—they respond wisely. Singles who prepare themselves before saying “I do” reduce future struggles.

What you refuse to learn today may become what you fight about tomorrow. God expects intentional preparation, not accidental success.

Practical Steps to Build with Knowledge:

  1. Study God’s design for marriage (Ephesians 5:22–33) — Understand roles, love, and submission from Scripture.
  2. Read and learn intentionally — Invest in sound Christian books, teachings, and seminars on marriage.
  3. Seek godly mentorship — Learn from couples with proven character and stable homes (Proverbs 11:14).

A marriage built on knowledge will stand storms because it is constructed intentionally. Singles, prepare wisely. Couples, keep learning continuously. Knowledge is not optional—it is foundational.
