BE A BLESSING

Anchor Scripture: Genesis 12:2

” And I will bless thee… and thou shalt be a blessing. “

Yesterday, we reflected on divine help and how God often sends people as channels of help to His children. This teaches us an important truth: life is in stages, and at every stage, God positions people to help one another. The help you enjoy today may have come through someone God raised for your sake. In the same way, you are also God’s answer to someone else’s prayer. This is why every believer must learn to live beyond receiving blessings and become a blessing to others.

God’s covenant with Abraham was not just that he would be blessed, but that he would be a blessing. This is still God’s desire for His children today. The blessings God gives are not meant to end with us; they are meant to flow through us to encourage, strengthen, and uplift others. Sometimes, being a blessing is not only about money, it may be through prayers, kind words, godly counsel, encouragement, or standing with someone in their difficult season.

Blessings increase when they are released. Just as a river remains fresh because it flows, your life and family will enjoy greater increase when you allow God’s blessings to pass through you to others. When you become a channel of blessing, you position yourself for continuous divine supply. Ask God to open your eyes to opportunities to bless others and make your family a vessel of His goodness.
