Regardless of how it’s packaged, premarital sex is never worth it. God’s Word is clear in First Corinthians 6:18: “Flee from sexual immorality.” This instruction is not meant to restrict us but to protect us. What may seem appealing in the moment can carry emotional, spiritual, and even physical consequences. God calls us to a higher standard because He values our bodies and desires purity in our lives.
Temptation often comes subtly, disguised as love or harmless pleasure. But First Epistle to Timothy 6:11 encourages believers to flee from these things and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace. Choosing purity is not always easy, but it is always right. It requires discipline, boundaries, and a heart committed to honoring God above temporary desires.
When we choose purity, we position ourselves for God’s best. First Epistle to the Thessalonians 4:3–5 reminds us that God’s will is our sanctification—that we should avoid sexual immorality and live in holiness and honor. Every time we resist temptation, we grow stronger spiritually and reflect God’s nature more clearly in our lives.
