Just as a wise builder lays a solid foundation before raising a house, anyone desiring a successful marriage must invest in spiritual growth, emotional maturity, financial stewardship, and godly character before saying, “I do.” Preparation is not a delay to destiny; it is the pathway to lasting fulfillment. Intentional preparation also involves seeking God’s direction, learning effective communication, embracing forgiveness, and developing the fruit of the Spirit.
